Cicero
“Cicero’s letters to his friends” was a challenge. Cicero is one of a skeptical person; it is really hard to keep up with his thoughts; he has a very weird pattern of jumping from one topic to another. Main source of his inspiration is depression or disappointment; it’s transferred onto his views. Utopian world, according to Cicero, is the world without passions. Passion is a destructive force. In brief, Cicero was a Jedi. So... Going back to my initial topic: Cicero represents "stoic" brunch of philosophy, he was a famous orator and thinker. His ideas are very powerful even though he tends to like demagogy too much, but this is just my humble opinion. He talks and thinks about physical pain vs. emotional suffering, death and depression. Despite the fact that his writing came from spleen and blue mood, they are very exciting and thought-appealing.
